I've been making and remaking some skirts lately for summer. I can't wait to wear them.
This is a denim skirt I made about a week ago. It has a fly zipper and pockets (I love pockets)
It has a yoke and belt loops.

The Japanese fabric I used for the bottom and binding. The Takahashis sent it up for me.

I found this mini skirt at a thrift store. I pleated some Ty-dye polka dot fabric to sew on it.

Oh wow. This is just feeding my desire to get out my sewing machine, go through my fabrics and CREATE SOMETHING.
