Techno Man Grandpa

I thought when my classes had finished at the college I would have free time. Like I might actually be bored or something. I was wrong. Music Theory was less work than being home. It's amazing how much effort the house takes just to survive, honestly I had forgotten just how much time everything takes to do. Last Wednesday we celebrated my grandpa's 90th birthday! It was great; Darlene and Wayne wanted to talk to him on Skype and he did. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks! They even sung happy birthday to him and watched him blow out the candles.

Not too much else is new. Luke has a mountain man thing this weekend, so I sewed Luke and Christian a Capote (which is a wool jacket) and I got all my grades in for the semester 4.0, YEAH!!!

I filmed myself signing my ASL song that I did for class and I thought it was so funny I would share it with you all. Don't judge please, I know my dancing sucks!

Day 16: Rugs

I don't think I have ever cried while hearing a song before. Yesterday though, Ridge showed me a song that made me have some tears of laughter. It's called Rugs From Me To You by Owl City. It's hilarious. You all know the drill you can find it at my playlist on my blog.

Day 12: Pigg, Playlist, and a Problem

Well, I haven't ever really given it much thought to what song I would like played at my wedding. I guess I really like Darling I Do by Landon Pigg, but I also wouldn't mind playing Mr. Blue Sky. I'm sure my tastes will change by then, and the guy will probably also have an input. But till then, you can here Darling I do on my playlist at the bottom of my blog.

Day 1: Thunder, Light, and a Fro

Today was my first day of the Thirty Day Challenge, and it asked me what my favorite song is. This question wasn't to hard.
I woke up this morning to the sound of thunder. What a powerful noise, especially when it is right over you. It's just mind boggling to think of how God creates monstrous bangs by clashing clouds together. Clouds look so Innocent and fluffy. I couldn't get evaporated water to clash together if my life depended on it, let alone make electrical bolts at the same time.
So needless to say my favorite song (at least for right now) is MR. Blue Sky by ELO (electric light orchestra). I don't have the video, but if you do watch it they have some great fros and facial hair. But what else can you expect from the 70s?
I had some trouble with my playlist, so I'll just stick the song on the playlist on the bottom of my blog and you can listen to it if you want.
